This young, active, and busy family, who has plans to be away for 137 days next year, is still looking for a replacement for their butler of 16 years, who will be retiring in the coming year. The position involves a lot of learning and many fine details. Generally, the position is 5 days a week, from Wednesday to Sunday, but it may require availability 24/7 when the family has guests or is entertaining for the holidays. The hours could vary from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., depending on whether the family is home, if there is dinner service that evening, and if there are household guests. Greeting guests and acquainting them with their rooms and the home's amenities is a good start. Duties include hiring and overseeing household staff. This mature couple is looking for a mature Houseman/Butler for their home in North Palm Beach from November 1st to May 1st. They generally are looking for someone Monday-Friday, occasionally some weekends, and this could be a live-in or live-out arrangement here in Florida. They would like someone who is open to traveling with them to Quebec, Canada for the summer months. There are very suitable living quarters in the home and you would be free to stay there 7 days a week or leave for the weekend.  They need someone who can put together a proper breakfast by 8:15 am, and work alongside the Housekeeper/Laundress. Additional duties would include following up with the gardeners, the pool people, and all sub-contractors. This very active family is looking for a full-time Houseman/Butler for their Formal Home on the shore in New Jersey from June thru October, Live-in, 5 days/week, with two days off during the week, as the extended family gathers on the weekend with their houseguests. The days revolve around lunch and dinner service, with the main focus on silver table service, formal table setting, and floral arrangements. Wardrobe management includes last-minute pressing of Misters' shirts or any casual items the laundress may not have gotten to yet. Must work with the House Manager, other Housemen, Housekeepers, caretaker, and Chef. This large home needs a second Butler/Houseman to help the Butler to take care of all the details associated with keeping a busy family on the go, going. This position would require weekends and would include travel up north with them privately to help with luggage and driving to and from the airports. This person would have experience in formal food and beverage service and would be willing to learn. Errands and personal shopping with a vehicle provided for work purposes. Generally, this position is based in Florida. This is not a 9-5 position, but rather an eleven to seven or noon to nine pm day, depending on their schedule. Silver dinner service daily. This is a fifty-hour work week. This position is a live-out position in Florida, and there are very suitable live-in accommodations for a few weeks at a time that you may be staying with the family up north, throughout the summer months.
