My amazing elderly client has fallen and broke her hip and injured her hand but is doing physical therapy and is getting back on track. Her daytime companion of many years is not a CNA, and we love her and will keep her, so we need someone who can help her with her daily chores and help her get back on her feet. Perhaps this person would work the evening hours, so we may need two people to cover seven days and days off for everyone. She does travel to New York in the summer and hopes to make the trip there for the late summer, until November, so we are looking for someone who would be able to travel with her there, drive her to appointments, assist with her iPad, help with her iPhone, make sure she has the New York Times and create a peaceful, enjoyable environment for her while she recovers from this fall, and she will. Must have in-home caregiving references, prefer a CNA, and must be patient and kind as Mrs. is a sweet heart and a tough cookie.
