This very civilized couple, who couldn’t be nicer, is bringing in a full-time Housekeeper to work with their current Housekeeper of 10 years, as she will be working part-time, five days a week, but will still take care of Mr and Mrs’s laundry, bedroom, and bath, the grocery shopping, while the new Housekeeper will do the detailed, deep cleaning of this large home. The position is Monday-Friday, probably 9-5, and they would like someone with excellent long-term references as a Housekeeper, as they would like someone to work with them forever. They would be many beds when the family comes to visit for the Holidays with the grandchildren, so they are many bedrooms and sheets, bathrooms, and family areas to clean when they leave. The majority of the time it is just Mr. and Mrs. and they like to do for themselves and are really not high maintenance. The family uses this large home for the season, but this is a year-round position. Salary is based on experience. There is paid vacation, some holidays, and a stipend for your health insurance benefits. After a year, the House manager will do a performance review and salary review to keep up with inflation and the cost of living. Couldn’t be a nicer job, but it is a full day’s work.
