This very active family is looking for a full-time Houseman/Butler for their Formal Home on the shore in New Jersey from June thru October, Live-in, 5 days/week, with two days off during the week, as the extended family gathers on the weekend with their houseguests. The days revolve around lunch and dinner service, with the main focus on silver table service, formal table setting, and floral arrangements. Wardrobe management includes last-minute pressing of Misters’ shirts or any casual items the laundress may not have gotten to yet. Must work with the House Manager, other Housemen, Housekeepers, caretaker, and Chef. Assist with all entertaining, answering the door while being mindful of security, and greeting guests, while assisting with all luggage and packages. Strong food and beverage experience skills for formal service are required. Willingness to provide driving services and run errands as needed. This is a live-out position while the family is in Florida from October to May. Helping maintain the vehicles with gas, the air in the tires, washing, and following proper service schedules. Help keep the garages, storage areas, supply closets, and pantries organized. Must help manage all bars in each home, wine cellars, and wine inventories to stock. This is about 50 hours per week. Two weeks paid vacation. 95k to start with full medical benefits and a 401K. Room for advancement for someone who is willing to prove themselves.
