Very busy family looking for a Butler to work alongside their House Manager, Chef, Housekeeper, and Houseman. This is a 5-day-a-week position, typically from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., primarily focusing on first-class, formal silver service for the principals and their frequent guests. The position is typically Wednesday-Sunday unless the family travels to one of their other properties. They are away about 4 months a year. They do require you to so some travel with them, two weeks at a time, rotating with the other staff members to the Northeast from mid-May to September, where they would provide live-in accommodations on their Estate there. This is a live-out position. They are looking for someone with a minimum of 5 years experience as a Butler and they would prefer someone looking for a Career position, and not a job. Serving meals for two to 10 guests is the standard, and maintaining and sourcing wines for the cellar and cataloging would be necessary. The position is generally a Monday-Friday, 8:30 am-5-ish, depending on the day. This position is about 75% outside maintenance and 25% inside helping the Housekeepers with some of the heavier chores. Mr. and Mrs. are very low-key, private people, and so they are looking for a detail-oriented person to come in and do their job and go home. This person would schedule all outside vendors, meet them, and escort them around the property to ensure all duties have been fulfilled. Managing lawn care, gardening, and outdoor furniture first priority. Perform regular and deep cleaning tasks, minor repairs, and preventive maintenance. Oversee upkeep, conduct routine inspections, and prepare homes for different seasons or occupancy. Monitor security systems and alarms. Coordinate renovations and special projects, working with contractors and designers on special projects. Help with transportation, including driving to and from airports and social events. Assist with managing inventories and transportation of items between homes and warehouses. Provide guest reception in this formal home, assist with meal service if occasionally required, and post-event clean-up. This mature couple is looking for a mature Houseman/Butler for their home in North Palm Beach from November 1st to May 1st. They generally are looking for someone Monday-Friday, occasionally some weekends, and this could be a live-in or live-out arrangement here in Florida. They would like someone who is open to traveling with them to Quebec, Canada for the summer months. There are very suitable living quarters in the home and you would be free to stay there 7 days a week or leave for the weekend.  They need someone who can put together a proper breakfast by 8:15 am, and work alongside the Housekeeper/Laundress. We are currently interviewing an experienced Handyman/Caretaker for a large Estate property on Jupiter Island. This is a full-time, year-round, outdoor position, Monday to Friday, from 7 am to 4 pm with flexibility in the schedule, based on the principles schedule and guests. The Estate Manager is very organized, so there is a complete schedule of duties to ensure that the entire Estate is pristine by providing hands-on maintenance/repairs to each and every corner of the property. The successful candidate must have a working knowledge of HVAC, irrigation systems, pool equipment, generators, plumbing, and light electrical. Crestron and Lutron systems are helpful. There are 5 vehicles to fuel daily when the family is in residence, golf carts to clean and charge, trash from the house daily as well as recycling.
