Busy family looking for a highly skilled and adaptable Houseman to help manage and maintain two different properties in the area. This is generally a five-day work week, Tuesday-Saturday, maybe 8-5. This person would schedule all outside vendors, meet them, and escort them around the property to ensure all duties have been fulfilled. Managing lawn care, gardening, and outdoor furniture first priority. Perform regular and deep cleaning tasks, minor repairs, and preventive maintenance. Oversee upkeep, conduct routine inspections, and prepare homes for different seasons or occupancy. Monitor security systems and alarms. Coordinate renovations and special projects, working with contractors and designers on special projects. Help with transportation, including driving to and from airports and social events. Assist with managing inventories and transportation of items between homes and warehouses. Provide guest reception in this formal home, assist with meal service if occasionally required, and post-event clean-up. Must help with personal shopping, sourcing specific items, and managing returns for both households. Assist with pet care, including feeding, walking, and groomer appointments.
